Pretty wild
A Dundee man repeatedly punches a motel vending machine that gave him the wrong drink and kept his money, causing over $1,500 in damage.
Cory Layne, 33, was staying at the Economy Motor Lodge in Dundee when a Coca-Cola vending machine dispensed the wrong drink and failed to return his money, and he responded by repeatedly punching the machine until he put a hole in it, causing an estimated $1,500 in damage. A motel guest witnessed the outburst and called police, who later found Layne hiding in a wooded area behind a nearby Winn-Dixie and arrested him on a felony criminal mischief charge. An officer noted in the report that it was 'better to hit a machine than hit a person.'
