A Florida man allegedly tried to destroy a police surveillance camera, only to discover it was a 3D-printed decoy.
Shortly before 1 a.m. on August 20, police say a man approached a Flock license-plate camera in Oviedo wearing dark clothing, gloves, and a face covering, then used pruning shears to cut it from its pole and smash it. The camera was actually a 3D-printed replica installed by Oviedo police as bait after several real Flock cameras had been stolen.
