Pretty wild
Florida Man caught driving a stolen forklift says he took it because he was tired of walking, and it wasn't his first time.
Port Orange police approached 43-year-old Bradley Barefoot (who was, fittingly, barefoot) after spotting him driving a stolen forklift worth roughly $38,000. He initially claimed he thought it was equipment stolen from his boss in Alabama, then admitted he took it because he noticed the keys left in the ignition and was tired of walking. He was found parked in a handicap spot with a mattress loaded on the forklift. It was Barefoot's second forklift theft with the same excuse. He'd taken one from behind a Daytona Beach Best Buy the year before. He was charged with grand theft.
