Florida Man score
Pretty wild
A 71-year-old Florida man failed to stop at a flashing red light in his golf cart, then skipped the small talk and told the deputy to just arrest him.
A Sumter County deputy in Lady Lake saw David Clifford Roach, 71, staggering before he climbed into a silver and white golf cart, which then blew through a flashing red signal and drifted across lane dividers multiple times. When the deputy stopped him, Roach had bloodshot, watery eyes and smelled of alcohol. Asked to perform field sobriety tests, Roach replied, 'Just take me away.' He went on to call the deputy a name and threatened that if he weren't in handcuffs he'd 'kick my a**,' before eventually conceding, 'I agree with ya.' He was charged with DUI and given a written warning for the flashing-light violation, and was released from jail in less than 12 hours.
