A Lady Lake man fills out a withdrawal slip for one cent at a Chase Bank, hints at violence when the teller refuses, and calmly waits for police to arrest him.

Michael Fleming, 41, allegedly walked into a Chase Bank in Lady Lake on June 29, 2024, and filled out a withdrawal slip for exactly one cent, and when the teller explained she couldn't process it, he asked, 'So you want me to say the other word?' The alarmed teller called police while Fleming simply sat down in the lobby to wait, and he had no account at the bank and walked away with nothing. He was arrested and charged with robbery, later telling deputies his goal had been to get arrested.
