A Lakeland man walking naked along a road in freezing weather tells deputies it was a TikTok challenge, despite not carrying a phone.
A driver spotted 41-year-old Anthony Day walking completely naked along Broken Arrow Trail in Lakeland just before 6 a.m. on November 11, 2025, with the temperature at 36 degrees. Day initially refused to identify himself, claiming he was 'protecting his privacy,' then gave deputies a false name and address before admitting the walk was supposedly a 'TikTok prank gone wrong.' Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd was skeptical, noting Day had no cell phone on him: 'You're really naked when you don't have your cell phone.' Day was charged with resisting an officer without violence, disorderly conduct, and exposure of sexual organs, and released on a $2,250 bond.
