A Trinity man allegedly displays a fake police badge and a firearm at a Dunkin' Donuts to score a discount, then returns to the same shop the next day.
Pasco County deputies say Charles Barry visited a Dunkin' Donuts in Trinity on November 6, 2013, and flashed a fake police badge along with a firearm to get a discount on his order. An employee grew suspicious and reported him, but Barry returned to the same shop the next day, where staff wrote down his license plate before calling deputies. Sheriff Chris Nocco said Barry claimed he got the badge from his father, a police officer in New Jersey; the badge was confiscated and Barry was arrested on charges of impersonating a law enforcement officer and improper exhibition of a firearm.
