Pretty wild
A St. Johns County teenager evades a deputy's traffic stop by doing a donut around his car, then calls 911 about an hour later to brag about the getaway.
Nicholas Jones, 19, sped off after a St. Johns County deputy tried to pull him over on May 4, 2019, then called 911 roughly an hour later and told dispatchers, 'I like ran from a cop like 30 minutes to an hour ago. Like what do we pay you guys for.' Jones described spinning a donut around the deputy's car as he fled and bragged that no cop could catch him in his Hyundai Elantra. Deputies traced the call and arrested him the next day at a Ross clothing store, charging him with fleeing, drug possession, and a probation violation from a prior car theft case.
