A Port Charlotte woman strips down and goes swimming in a homeowner's pool without permission, then refuses to get out when deputies arrive.

Heather Kennedy, 42, was found floating nude in a homeowner's backyard pool in Port Charlotte on July 20, 2021, after neighbors reported her wandering the property and trying to get into a screened pool enclosure. The homeowner, Jim Clark, said Kennedy was 'basically just lying down, head on the bricks on the side of the pool, just totally incoherent,' and she refused to identify herself or leave the water when deputies showed up. She was arrested on charges of trespassing in a structure or conveyance and resisting an officer without violence.
