A St. Petersburg smoke shop owner dressed as a jester pulls a 12-inch dagger on a landscaper after complaining the mower is too loud on a weekday afternoon.
Anthony Marzola, 51, owner of the Psychedelic Jester smoke shop, allegedly retrieved a 12-inch dagger from his vehicle and advanced on landscaper Brian Hanson while yelling that he 'cannot be mowing,' despite it being a weekday afternoon, in St. Petersburg on August 14, 2025. Hanson kept his lawnmower between himself and Marzola as a barrier until Marzola backed off. The arresting officer noted in his report that Marzola was 'wearing a full jester costume during the incident and arrest,' and he was booked on a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, held on $15,000 bond, and ordered to have no contact with Hanson.
