Florida Man allegedly tries to stay overnight inside a closed Walmart for a TikTok challenge and gets caught hiding in the dog bed aisle.

Charlotte County deputies responded to a reported burglary at a Walmart on McCall Road in Englewood just after 11 p.m. on January 13, 2026, after a caller reported a man livestreaming from inside the closed store. Deputies found 18-year-old Isaac Hurley in the dog bed section; he said he'd entered around 10:15 p.m. planning to stay overnight to complete a TikTok challenge and earn money from the views. Deputies also noted he'd unwrapped an iPhone charger while inside. Hurley was arrested on charges of burglary of an occupied structure and petit theft and bonded out for $1,500.
