A man fleeing police breaks into a 77-year-old woman's home, changes into her clothes to hide from officers, then casually asks for a drink.

Jacksonville Sheriff's Office investigators said 37-year-old Kristopher Patterson, being chased by an officer over a robbery, broke into a 77-year-old woman's home and changed into her clothing to avoid being identified. When the homeowner found him, Patterson told her he was hiding from police and asked if he could have a drink from her fridge. He then took her purse and car keys and fled in her Cadillac, which he was later found slumped over the wheel of in a Walmart parking lot on Philips Highway. He was charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling, carjacking, petit theft, and resisting an officer without violence.
