Florida Man is handcuffed and led out of a Chuck E. Cheese in full mascot costume over a stolen credit card.
Jermell Jones, 41, was arrested just after 6:30 p.m. on July 23, 2025, while working inside the mouse costume at a Tallahassee Chuck E. Cheese. A parent who'd hosted a birthday party there noticed over $100 in fraudulent charges on their card, pulled store surveillance footage, and recognized the mascot performer as the culprit. Officers cuffed Jones and walked him out in full costume as parents and kids watched. He was charged with theft of a credit card, fraudulent use of a credit card, and criminal use of personal identification.
