Pretty wild
A Dixie County man driving a red riding lawnmower down a county road is pulled over and found with methamphetamine, pills, and a hypodermic needle.
A Dixie County Sheriff's Office deputy spotted Roy Lee McDaniel driving a red riding lawnmower on NE 799th Street near Old Town on August 19, 2026, and pulled him over since the mower does not meet roadway safety standards. The deputy smelled marijuana, and McDaniel admitted he had smoked earlier before a search of a gray bag on the mower turned up crystal methamphetamine, Clonazepam pills without a prescription, and a hypodermic needle. He was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
