A Cape Canaveral man pulls out a concealed machete at a bar after an employee turns down his request to sing one more karaoke song.

Travis Jordan, 39, allegedly pulled an 18-inch machete he had concealed on him after a bar employee at Kennedy's Lamp Post Tavern in Cape Canaveral told him he could not sing another karaoke song, demanding an encore before another employee talked him into handing over the weapon. Deputies who responded found Jordan extremely intoxicated with bloodshot, glassy eyes and said he told them he keeps the machete on him because he always needs to stay alert. He was arrested on breach of peace and disorderly conduct charges and booked into the Brevard County Jail, with the sheriff's office joking that Jordan's antics earned him a stay at 'Ivey's Iron Bar Lodge' where every night is open mic night.
