Deputies say a man exposed himself outside a Taco Bell in the middle of the night, then turned out to have a live pet fish swimming in his backpack.
Flagler County deputies responded to a Taco Bell on State Road 100 just before 1 a.m. on May 28, 2026, after employees reported what the sheriff's office jokingly described as a man with his 'chimichanga out' near a side door. Deputies identified the suspect as Brandon Irizarry, 28, who had multiple pairs of pants pulled down and initially seemed unaware officers had arrived before attempting to cover himself. He was arrested on a charge of unlawful exposure of sexual organs and held on a $5,000 bond. While inventorying his belongings, deputies discovered a live betta fish swimming in a plastic container inside his backpack. They nicknamed the fish 'Baja Blast' and transferred it to the Flagler County Humane Society, where staff said it was doing great.
