Florida Man allegedly refuses to leave his hotel room after his reservation ends, and deputies find him dressed head to toe in a stolen inmate uniform.
Brevard County deputies were called to a hotel on March 20, 2026, after staff reported that 53-year-old Farron Fullerton was refusing to leave his room after his reservation had ended. When deputies arrived, they found Fullerton wearing a full jail uniform, later identified as belonging to the Mitchell County Jail, which investigators determined he'd stolen after a previous jail stay rather than escaped from. Fullerton resisted being handcuffed and was arrested on misdemeanor charges of trespassing and resisting arrest without violence, held on a $1,000 bond. Sheriff Wayne Ivey summed up the scene: 'I've heard of dress for success, but never dress for arrest!'
