Pretty wild
A Stuart man calls 911 twice during his lunch break to complain that the clams he ordered at a seafood restaurant were too small.
Nelson Agosto, 51, allegedly called 911 during his lunch break at Crabby's Seafood Shack in Stuart on December 18, 2017, telling the dispatcher his $12 order of clams 'was extremely so small.' When the operator redirected him to a non-emergency line, Agosto called 911 again anyway, prompting an officer to cite him on the spot. He later said he didn't realize calling 911 over a food complaint broke any rules, and he was charged with misdemeanor misuse of the 911 system.
