Pulled over for passing cars in a turn lane, a Florida man got out of his SUV and began twerking for deputies in a downpour.

Citrus County deputies pulled over Richard Wolfe, 57, of Crystal River, on State Road 44 in Inverness on September 7, 2021, after he was seen using a median and a turn lane to pass cars in the rain. Wolfe got out of his SUV, bent over, and began twerking for the deputy in the downpour, then pulled a knife from his waistband and threw it into the grass while continuing to taunt the officer for nearly 20 seconds. When he tried to walk away and then attempted to flee, deputies deployed a Taser to take him into custody. He was booked on charges of resisting an officer without violence, fleeing law enforcement, and reckless driving, and bystander video of the encounter went viral.
