A 72-year-old Clermont man shoots a Walmart delivery drone out of the sky, convinced it was surveilling his home.

Dennis Winn, 72, spotted a drone flying over his Clermont home during a Walmart marketing campaign testing mock deliveries in the area and, believing it was watching his property as he suspected other drones had before, grabbed a gun and fired at it, causing about $2,500 in damage to its payload system. Lake County deputies arrested Winn and charged him with shooting at an aircraft, criminal mischief with damage over $1,000, and discharging a firearm on residential property.
